What we collect, and what we do with it.

The short version

If you give us your email address, we use it to tell you whenPull the Strings goes on sale. That is the whole arrangement. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own use, and we do not run any tracking or analytics on this site.

What we collect

Your email address, and only if you type it into the form yourself. Nothing else. There is no account to create, no profile, and no purchase history, because nothing is for sale yet.

This site sets no cookies of its own, embeds no social widgets, and loads no third party scripts or fonts.

Why we collect it

To send one email when the game goes on sale, and possibly one before that if something worth reporting happens. Nothing else, ever.

Who else sees it

The email service that stores the list and sends the messages, because it cannot work otherwise. Our web host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Nobody buys the list, and nobody is given it for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until the list is no longer needed. If you ask us to delete your address, we delete it.

How to leave

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately. You can also write to us and ask to be removed, or ask what we hold about you, and we will do it.

Children

The game is for ages 10 and up, but this mailing list is not aimed at children, and we ask that people under 13 do not sign up. If you believe a child has given us an address, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
